Challenge Overview
You will be required to produce a video to showcase the change that, as an individual or team, you have made in your setting in relation to one or more of the five pillars of the World Health Organisation’s Intersectoral Global Action Plan on epilepsy and other neurological disorders (IGAP):
- Raise policy prioritization and strengthen governance
- Provide effective, timely and responsive diagnosis, treatment and care
- Implement strategies for promotion and prevention
- Foster research and innovation and strengthen information systems
- Strengthen the public health approach to epilepsy
Each submission should:
- Present a solution/intervention addressing an issue impacting individuals with neurological disorders in your work based setting (either a new solution or an improvement to an existing solution). The examples can come from fields of advocacy, clinical care, education and many others: there are no restrictions.
- Explain how this change resulted from or relates to a previous Global Brain Health Clinical Exchange session
To make your video we suggest either using your mobile phone device or to record via an online video conference platform like Zoom, Teams etc. Please use a method of recording that you are comfortable with. The submission does not need to be a professionally recorded and produced video; it will be judged based on the solution it presents, not on the cinematographic skill.
