Research Fellowship Opportunities

The School of Environmental Sciences hosts numerous staff members awarded prestigious personal fellowships in the past and is strongly committed to attracting and retaining more fellows in the future. Fellowships are available for those at all stages in their research careers and can be particularly effective in establishing the careers of early-stage researchers.    

In the School of Environmental Sciences, we will actively support interested applicants in submitting bids to the relevant organisations and will then work with them to maximise their research and wider career potential during the course of the award.

Sources of fellowships obtaining by current members of staff include NERC, EPSRC, ERC, and the Leverhulme Trust. These recipients and other members of staff who have sat on various fellowship selection panels are happy to provide expert advice on the application process to prospective candidates.

If you are interested in applying for a fellowship to be based at Liverpool now or in the future, or if you are interested in moving an existing fellowship to Liverpool, then we would like to hear from you. ‌
