Things to do before you start

Find out more about what you should do before you start your course.

You will receive an email from the University containing guidance around enrolment and registration.

We understand that this is a busy time for you, and you will receive lots of information and emails. Please do read any correspondence carefully, as there are essential steps to follow to ensure your enrolment is successful. 

You will receive emails from the University central teams (such as Student Administration) and emails from us, your department. It is important that you read all emails.

 

Register online

You will be sent guidance around registering for your studies by the University Student Administration team. You will be required to activate (www.liverpool.ac.uk/activate/) your University account and register on the Liverpool Life portal (https://liverpool-life.liverpool.ac.uk 

Further registration guidance is available at www.liverpool.ac.uk/student-administration/registering-for-my-programme/  

You will need to confirm your registration on campus, connected to the University network. You will not be a fully registered student until this step is complete (Student Loans can only be released once this final step is complete)

Become familiar with CANVAS
