Governance

The Infection Neuroscience Laboratory is led by Professor Benedict Michael (Director) and managed by Victoria Grimbly (Programme Manager). The team is split into different key areas: research; education and knowledge exchange.

Research

The Research team is led by Dr Mark Ellul who ensures that each member is working to their fullest capacity and that there are development opportunities for each team member. Dr Stephen Ray is our Paediatric Neuroscience Lead for the lab. See our Research section to find out more about the lab’s current and past projects, as well as download and access our recent Publications.

Education

The Education team is led by Dr Dean Walton who oversees the running of our suite of neurology focussed training courses. See our Education section to read about and book onto our upcoming courses.

Knowledge Exchange

Finally, the Knowledge Exchange group is led by Dr Greta Wood who manages our work with different collaborators including: working with the World Health Organisation (WHO); the World Federation of Neurology (WFN); the Global Health Network and the Global Neuro Research Coalition. See our Knowledge exchange section to learn about the different pathways to impact that our work has initiated.
