We accept a wide variety of overseas qualifications and offer preparation routes to help you meet our entry requirements.
Undergraduate entry requirements
If you're studying towards, or already hold, overseas high school qualifications, you'll need to check if they're equivalent to the entry requirements for your intended degree.

How we can help you meet our entry requirements
If you have good high school grades but don't currently meet our entry requirements, you could apply for a place on a Foundation Certificate. These courses are delivered on campus at the University of Liverpool International College.
On completion of a Foundation Certificate, at the required level and with good attendance, you can progress onto a University of Liverpool undergraduate degree.
Postgraduate entry requirements
If you're studying towards, or already hold, an overseas university-level qualification, you'll need to check if they're equivalent to the entry requirements for your intended master's.

How we can help you meet our entry requirements
If you hold a bachelors' degree or equivalent but don't currently meet our entry requirements, you could apply for a place on a Pre-Master's course. These courses are delivered on campus at the University of Liverpool International College.
On completion of a Pre-Master's, at the required level and with good attendance, you can progress onto a University of Liverpool master's degree.
English language requirements
As an international applicant, you’ll need to show you meet our English language requirements, unless you're from a majority English speaking country.
We accept a variety of international language tests and country-specific qualifications as evidence of English language ability. We also offer Pre-Sessional English courses if you need to improve your English language skills.
