Teaching
From Student to Professional
Through the Planning in Practice and Implementing and Managing Change modules, I help students prepare for the transition from being an undergraduate to a young professional town planner, working in a challenging environment.
Planning Theory, Law and Policy
Through modules on planning theory and law, students learn about the intellectual and legal history and underpinnings of Britain's modern-day planning system.
Conservation of the Historic Environment
Through the Planning and the Historic Environment module, students at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels can explore the ways in which a desire to conserve historic buildings and other forms of built heritage can be reconciled with the tendency for towns and cities to change over time.
