Self-organization and runout behaviour of granular avalanches; sedimentation from pyroclastic density currents.
Tectonic controls of volcanism, particularly at caldera volcanoes.
Marine and lacustrine sedimentary records of volcanism.
Mechanisms of hydrovolcanic explosions.
Post-collisional magmatism, plutons and volcanoes of Scotland and Ireland.
