The event
This half day event invites academics from management and business disciplines, as well as those specialised in law and social justice, to share their experiences and explore common research themes and challenges.
Through speed networking and focused breakout sessions, the workshop is aimed at facilitating opportunities to explore potential collaborative projects.
The workshop is open to researchers from both Schools at different career stages, interested in expanding their networks, thinking beyond their own disciplines and embracing different ways of approaching research problems.
Common research themes identified include the following, though others may also be of interest:
- Inequalities, poverty and economic disadvantage
- Artificial intelligence (AI)
- Ageing and health
- Domestic abuse and crime
- Policing and the criminal justice system
- Competition policy
Following the workshop, participants will have the opportunity to apply for a small amount of pump-priming funding to support new and existing collaborations.
More details will be made available shortly, but please contact ULMS Research Funding Manager, Clare Canning (ccanning@liverpool.ac.uk) with any initial questions you may have.
Please, note any funds awarded will be required to be used by the end of July 2024.
