    Personal Statement

    Olivier Sykes was awarded his PhD in urban and regional planning from the University of Liverpool in 2004 for a thesis investigating the application of the European Spatial Development Perspective in EU Member State planning. His work focusses primarily on the Europeanization of planning systems and aspects of comparative planning and urban policy He is currently a member of the editorial boards of Town planning Review and Urban, Planning and Transport Research.
