The Department of Mathematical Sciences of the University of Liverpool invites applications for EPSRC DTG studentships research leading to a Ph D, starting 1 October 2013
The award is primarily available to students resident in the UK/EU and will pay full tuition fees and a maintenance grant for 3.5-4 years; the maintenance grant will be at least 13726 GBP for 2013/14 with rises anticipated in future years.
Candidates can apply to work in any Maths or Stats subject area with an agreed supervisor - see our complete list of sample PhD projects. available in the department. Students in Theoretical Physics are eligible for similar STFC studentships
The deadline for receiving applications is 10 March 2013.
