Francofil provides a general forum of discussion and information for scholars and teachers working in all areas of French and Francophone Studies. Contributions to the list may be in either English or French, and we welcome discussion not only of cultural, linguistic, literary, social, historical and philosophical issues, but also of practical and pedagogical matters relating to our discipline. We also welcome the sharing of information about resources, conferences, publications or other important events, and we encourage departments to post job announcements to the list.
