Feedback from last year’s event (May 2012)
I thought the conference was very well organised. Good speakers, pitched at the right level and for a useful amount of time. I think the researcher's conference is a very helpful way of obtaining information about issues relevant to me that I would probably not hear about from any other source. Nice lunch too!
A good variety of speakers who presented their expertise and research practice under each theme. The parallel sessions were informal and offered opportunities for discussion amongst the group
The Q&A session before lunch was highly informative. Research contracts are always a major part of this discussion however the part on development opportunities was equally informative. I appreciated the opportunity to listen to the PVC and other senior researchers of the University.
