Postgraduate students walking through campus in the autumn

Welcome

Your master's journey with the Management School is about to begin

Congratulations on securing your place on one of our master’s programmes!

I look forward to welcoming you to campus in September, in the meantime, I would like to share some advice as you prepare to begin your studies with us.

If you are moving to Liverpool for the first time, or want to see what life is like on campus, then I would encourage you to take a look at the University’s Settling in pages which include virtual tours of campus and the city as well as information about our sports facilities, libraries and support services.

I would encourage you to get involved in the wider postgraduate community during your time at the School.

As well as the many societies offered by the University’s Guild of Students, the Management School provides many extra-curricular activities such as the ExECS programme and the Master’s Consultancy Challenge and a range of careers and employability activities run by our dedicated, in-house MSc Careers team. These are all excellent ways to not only develop skills outside of your core studies but also to meet new people from other programmes across the School and the University.

Liverpool is an amazing city so go exploring, make new friends and above all make the most of this life-changing experience.

We have a number of information sessions taking place throughout Welcome Week, including my ULMS Essentials sessions on Wednesday 20 September.  I look forward to seeing you all then.
