Why did you choose the University of Liverpool Management School?

Because the Management School is top-ranked, part of the Russell Group, and triple-accredited.

Do you feel the MBA has helped your career progression?

The MBA has significantly contributed to my career progression. The programme provided me with a comprehensive skill set, strategic thinking abilities, and a valuable network. These assets have played a crucial role in opening new opportunities and enhancing my professional growth.

What do you feel was the most rewarding element of the programme?

Its holistic offering. The programme not only enhances technical and business knowledge but also fosters crucial skills such as leadership, strategic thinking, and effective communication. This is fundamental to tackle complex challenges in the professional world and opens new opportunities for personal and career advancement.

Describe your MBA experience in two words

Transformative journey.

Which guest speakers do you remember and do you have any takeaways?

One memorable guest speaker during my time at the Management School was the Vice President of Rolls Royce. The key takeaway from their presentation was the importance of not closing doors to opportunities that come your way.

The speaker emphasized that what may initially seem unrelated to your goals could turn out to be even better than what you were originally seeking. This insight has stayed with me, encouraging me to approach opportunities with an open mind and embrace the potential for unexpected and rewarding paths in my professional journey.

Did you make use of the dedicated MBA careers support available?

Yes, we had coaching sessions which were great to understand and identify what I wanted to do after the MBA. Also, they helped with CV and job applications.

Did you receive a scholarship, if so, what impact did this have on you?

I received a scholarship, and its impact was pivotal. It enabled me to cover the expenses associated with relocating to another country, living there, and meeting the program costs. Without the scholarship, pursuing the opportunity would have been financially challenging.

What did you enjoy the most about studying and living in Liverpool?

The vibrant culture and friendly community made studying and living in Liverpool enjoyable. The city's rich history, diverse events, and welcoming atmosphere created a positive environment. Exploring the unique blend of tradition and modernity was a constant source of delight during my time there.
