Jorie Graham reads from her work, which engages the whole of the human condition and addresses wide philosophical issues. This event is directly followed by a free panel discussion with Michael Schmidt.

Jorie Graham was born in New York City, raised in Italy and educated in French schools. She is the author of numerous collections of poetry, most recently Sea Change, The Dream of the Unified Field: Selected Poems 1974-1994, and won the 1996 Pulitzer Prize for Poetry.
