Aims |

• To provide an introduction to sociological engagement with visual data/analysis • To provide research students with an opportunity to practice these sets of research skills with respect to their own projects |

Syllabus |
|
The seminars will be based around close engagement of the key texts listed below; in the course of these semi-structured classes major positions in the field of (sociological) visual analysis will be staked out, and key lines of analysis articulated. |
