Aims |

1. To plan for a Particiaptory Action Research dissertation project; 2. To develop an understanding of the theoretical perspectives that inform a Participatory Action Research approach; 3. To develop understanding of appropriate methods and activities for a Participatory Action Research approach; 4. To understand ethical considerations related to a Participatory Action Research approach. |

Syllabus |

The syllabus for this module contains three elements: (1) methods and practice (2) theoretical and policy perspectives (3) reflexive learning and ethical practice. These elements are brought together through the workshops where you will be encouraged to learn through a cyclical process of action and reflection, and active collaborative with participants throughout the project life. |
