Aims |

To develop accuracy and fluency in notation. To realise practical knowledge of instruments in relation to different orchestrational tasks. To refine and expand knowledge of 20th/21st-century styles, languages and approaches to Develop Self Critical Skills. |
Learning Outcomes |

(LO1) Students will use the Sibelius notation software at an advanced level. |

(LO2) Students will demonstrate an advanced understanding of formal archetypes across a range of musical idioms. |

(LO3) Students will demonstrate competency when notating orchestration assignments. |
