Aims |
|
T his module aims to/seeks to: 1) provide students with an opportunity to work closely with a professional composer to compose, write and perform their creative works 2) prepare students for the expectations and demands of professional composition 3) develop knowledge/skills in musical composition - both in acoustics and / or live electronics 4) support a wider agenda for research into musical composition within the academy. |

Syllabus |
|
Tuition is given one-to-one, or in small groups, normally every two weeks. Through contact and regular feedback the supervisor will advise on the shape, structure of the composition portfolio and help to support the technical demands of the composition. As a research project, much will depend upon the needs of each individual case. |
