The coordinator arranges for the student to discuss with possible supervisors to find a topic of mutual interest. It is preferable if this can be completed before the end of the first semester so that some preliminary reading can be completed during the Christmas vacation. During the second semester there are weekly consultations with the supervisor who suggests specific reading and outlines the relevant material. Towards the end of the project, the student is given guidance on report writing and oral presentation. Detailed submission requirements are given to students in advance. The student will be required to give a short oral presentation on the results of the project. |
