Stimulate the academic interest of students in a complex area of law; |
Learning Outcomes |

Syllabus topics: 1. Understanding Land |
Teaching and Learning Strategies |
|
Learning and teaching on this module will be structured in accordance with the principles of Hybrid Active Learning with asynchronous materials and synchronous seminar sessions. Asynchronous recordings provide material previously addressed in physical lectures, suitably broken down (‘chunking’) and augmented (e.g. quizzes etc) so as to enhance student engagement. Synchronous sessions will run on a fortnightly pattern across the semester (i.e. 6 in total) and will each have a duration of 2 hours. Asynchronous materials will cover the full syllabus Synchronous seminars (2 hrs each). Indicative overview as follows: 1. First seminar: how the module works + what is Land – One essay question/One application question. 2. Second seminar: Estates and Interests: One Discursive question, One problem question. 3. Third seminar: Registration of Land: One Discursive question, One Problem question 4. Fourth Seminar: Reg istration of Land: The Importance of Identifying and Interest 5. Fifth seminar: TOLATA: One Discursive question, One Problem question 6. Sixth seminar: Co-ownership & Revision session |
