Aims |

To outline the linguistic situation of contemporary Italy; To develop the students’ critical awareness of issues relating to language in society, with specific reference to the Italian context; To introduce theoretical and methodological aspects of sociolinguistic research. |

The majority of teaching will be delivered face-to-face on campus. Online delivery will be used to complement the on-campus delivery and where technology affords a better learning experience. Lecture: Seminar: Tutorial: Individual tutorials are available on request. |
