Aims |

To build on existing language skills focusing on all four areas of language competence; To provide students with a sound understanding of the more complex structures of Italian grammar; To encourage students to explore aspects of contemporary Italian culture and to reflect on some key Italian social and economic trends through the medium of Italian; To develop students' language learning strategy use and reflective approach towards language learning. |

The majority of teaching will be delivered face-to-face on campus. Online delivery will be used to complement the on-campus delivery and where technology affords a better learning experience. Seminar: Tutorial: |
Syllabus |

Three weekly seminars focused on language, skills, and topics. Selected topics will provides the focus for all language work. It is normally expected that three weeks will be spent on each topic and students' preferences will be taken into account. Tutorials will take place in tutorial week. |
