Aims |

To equip final year students with sophisticated expressive skills in the area of formal text production on an advanced level in a variety of genres; To provide translations skills in different styles, registers and genres; To develop grammar skills to an advanced level; To develop advanced listening skills; To develop speaking and presentation skills through specific oral classes. |
Learning Outcomes |

(LO1) By the end of the module, students will be able to speak and write Spanish with near-native fluency and with grammatical correctness. |

(LO2) Students will be able to communicate effectively in a variety of different contexts and registers. |

Teaching and Learning Strategies |

Advanced grammar subjects will be tackled as well as advanced written, oral and aural work in Spanish language. Students will write extensive pieces of work in various genres and learn to speak in various registers and in various situations. The Syllabus is to be found in the Module Handbook (accessible through CANVAS). Each student is issued with a detailed Weekly Schedule for the Module at the beginning of the Semester. |
