Teaching and Learning Strategies |
|
This module is taught through 24 hours of general language classes, divided between synchronous and asynchronous learning activities, as necessary. These include reading, writing, listening and speaking exercises and grammar teaching and practice. Students have a chance to consolidate and practise the structures and vocabulary acquired in conversation, discussions, short presentations and short writing and note taking exercises. Russian will be the main language of teaching in class. Students are expected to attend all classes, to take part in weekly activities, to hand in homework and the portfolios on time and to work through the assigned exercises independently. The module offers much accompanying material, including online resources, which can be used for independent study in the library. Regular feedback forms an integral part of the module. |
Syllabus |
