Aims |

To equip final-year students with sophisticated expressive skills in the area of formal text production on an advanced level in a variety of genres; To provide translations skills in different styles, registers and genres; To develop grammar skills to an advanced level; To develop advanced listening skills; To develop speaking and presentation skills; To deepen interpreting competence; To develop students’ cultural understanding of France. |

Syllabus |
|
The full syllabus can be found on the VLE at the beginning of the semester. Students will learn how to write specific text-types each of which demands a particular form, style, register and vocabulary. Students will continue to develop their translating and basic interpreting skills. The module also tackles diverse points of higher sentence grammar and students will read extensive texts of high standard language level. Finally, students will improve listening comprehension and speaking skills. |
