Aims |

Develop an elementary competence in reading, writing, listening and speaking German; Provide students with an understanding of elementary structures of German grammar; Provide a deeper insight into the culture and society of the German speaking world; Develop some intercultural understanding. |

Syllabus |

Elementary module in German language: grammar, translation and written and spoken communication. The syllabus can be found in the module handbook which can be accessed through VITAL. Each student is issued with a weekly schedule for the module at the beginning of each semester. |
