The key literary periods covered in this module reflect those of Level 2 literature module options. This module serves as a broad introduction to these periods through the study of textual examples from each period alongside relevant contexts. The content of the module will be available to students from the module’s VITAL page where key learning resources (e.g. lecture material and reading list) will be made available. Library resources, critical reading, and audio-visual resources will be accessible through the module’s reading list. Students are required to read the primary text(s) linked with each week’s lecture which will also serve as the primary text(s) for that week’s tutorial. Students are also encouraged to study the supplementary resources provided through the reading list in preparation for tutorial discussion and for their assessments. The key texts will be available through the reading list link below. |
