Aims

To introduce the techniques and skills required to be an effective expert witness.


Learning Outcomes

An ability to explain and defend complex technical issues & programmes.

Techniques and procedures required to explain and defend complex technical issues & programmes in judicial or similar circumstances.

Role, duties & responsibilities of an expert witness.
Different types of hearing/courts. 
Objectivity of the expert witness. 
Techniques for providing effective expert evidence. 
Handling difficult questions.
