Aims

To introduce effective techniques for presenting & defending complex technical arguments.


Learning Outcomes

An ability to handle complex issues both systematically and creatively, make sound judgments in the absence of complete information and communicate their conclusions to specialist & non-specialist audiences.


Syllabus

Handling complex issues both systematically and creatively, making sound judgments in the absence of complete information and communicating conclusions to specialist & non-specialist audiences.

Understanding and applying the skills necessary for communication excellence.  
Art and science of influence: thinking styles, body language and listening. 
Assertive communication. 
Managing challenging relationships. 
Resolving conflicts. 
Use of questions to uncover needs and identify issues.
