Aims

To introduce students to concepts within strategy and leadership in football;

To enable students to apply models and concepts from strategy to the football context and to draw meaningful insights from these.

Teaching and Learning Strategies

Teaching Method 1 - Lecture
Description: Standard lecturers will be delivered over a 2 day block period. Class discussions and activities will be encouraged.

Description: Guest speakers from within the football industry will add to the traditional lecturing format. An opportunity for Q & A with expert speakers will be provided.

Teaching Method 3 - Group Project
Description: Opportunities will be provided for unassessed group work during the course of this module. Students will be encouraged to work through case studies focused on football strategy within small groups.
