Aims

To build skills in effective leadership. To develop expertise in management techniques (Belbin) and developing relationships (Firo B). To enhance skills in communicating, negotiating and influencing, especially under pressure.


Learning Outcomes

(LO1) An understanding of the dynamics of teamwork as a basis for effective leadership.

(LO2) Skill in using certain management techniques and developing relationships (Belbin and Firo B).

(LO3) Ability to communicate, negotiate, interview and influence in a management context.
