Aims

To introduce students to the importance of psychological and physiological resilience;

To enable students to assess and minimise their levels of stress;

To enable students to understand and maximise physiological well-being;

To develop time management skills.

Teaching and Learning Strategies

Teaching Method 1 - Lecture

Notes: Standard lecturers will be delivered over a 3 day block period. Class discussions and activities will be encouraged

Teaching Method 2 - Seminar
Description:

Notes: Guest speakers from within the football industry will add to the traditional lecturing format. An opportunity for Q+A with expert speakers will be provided.

Teaching Method 3 - Group Project

Notes: Opportunities will be provided for unassessed group work during the course of this module. Groups will be asked to work through case studies.
