The developing relationship between government and business;

Theoretical aspects to the relationship between government and business, for example corporatism;

Government and business in the context of globalisation;

Government regulation of business;

Government assistance for business;

Business in relations with the various levels of governance, for example national, devolved, local and European;

Business as a lobbying interest and political actor;

Case studies in relations between UK government and business in two sectors;

Issues in business/governance relations in the UK;

Issues in business/governance relations in two European countries;

Issues in business/governance relations in two developing countries;

Overview of business and government relations.
