Aims

Carry out an action research intervention and produce doctoral-level research;

Explain the histroy and nature of action research;

Define and descrive the various stages of the action research process;

Employ appropriate action research methodologies and justify their use;

Distinguish between insider and external action research and appreciate the challenges and opportunities presented by both modalities;

Engage with and resolve ethical dilemmas arising from action research.
