Aims |

The aim of this module is to introduce students to graduate level of urban analysis and design, resulting in the manifestation of an urban strategy and the formulation of a project brief, which will form the basis module ARCH404. |

Syllabus |
|
The project will concentrate on the formulation of an urban strategy. Analytical and mapping techniques developed in the first semester on a smaller level will be expanded to an urban scale. Attention will be given to issues of critical thinking as well as sustainable development (thematic and physical), emphasising strategies that give consideration to the conservation and projection of existing resources and conditions. |
