Teaching and Learning Strategies

Teaching Method 1 - Lecture
Description: A series of lectures for all students which will be recorded.
Attendance Recorded: Yes

Teaching Method 2 - Seminar
Description: A range of seminar topics will be offered. Each student will join one seminar group and attend those seminars. LO3 and S2 are being developed during the seminars, as students will start preparing for the essay component of their assessment by working within small seminar groups (LO3) and gradually reflect on their individual work (S2). In tis sense, LO3 and S2 are new additions as regards to the teaching delivery of History modules (that is, rather than focusing primarily on lectures). However, LO3 and S2 are not assessed separately in summative assessment, as similar learning outcomes and skills are developed through design modules on a regular basis.
Attendance Recorded: Yes

The majority of teaching will be delivered face to face on campus. Online delivery will be used to complement th e on campus delivery and where technology affords a better learning experience.
