Aims |
|
The aim of this module is to investigate, in depth: The attributes of selected examples of twentieth-century architecture and their associated cultural, social and intellectual framework. To demonstrate, through building analysis, the influence of historical and theoretical concepts on the spatial, social and technological aspects of twentieth-century architecture. |

Syllabus |
|
Each week will see a lecture delivered in the form of pre-recorded segments and a live Q&A. Each will be delivered by a research-active historian of architecture, speaking about some period and region of architecture since 1900, worldwide. The exact contents of the module vary slightly from year to year depending on the availability of staff and their developing research. |
