Aims |

To give students the history and background to Virtual Reality and virtual environments and its role both in society and in an architectural design context. To give students the opportunity to learn and develop practical VR tools. |
Learning Outcomes |

Syllabus |
|
Week 1: Introduction and history of Virtual Reality and Virtual Environments. Week 2 : Software for Virtual Reality (Unity / Unreal). Week 3: VR /VE and Design. Week 4: Integrating into the architectural workflow. Week 5,6 software session. Week 7: visiting lecturer. Week 8: visit to Virtual Engineering Centre and Flight Simulator. Week 9: visiting lecturer. Week 10&11: software session. Week 12: final presentations. |
