Direct Coupling - Benchmark Study
An effort is underway to generalise previous work to 6 D-o-F simulations. Benchmarking closely coupled and derivative based simulations will provide valuable information about the regimes where teh closely coupled approach is needed. In addition, novel control effectors are being included and fast approaches (eg Harmonic Balance) are being used to generate dynamic derivatives.
