3DoF Simulation of a Generic Fighter

A generic test case was established using the Standard Dynamic Model (SDM). Functionality to allow the longitudinal motion (velocity and pitch) of an unstable configuration to be simulated. This required the rigid motion of the mesh, the deformation of the mesh due to elevator motions, the coupling of the motion equations and the CFD solver in time, and the inclusion of a control law to move the elevator to follow the requested flight path.
