Personal Statement
Nick Davis is a Senior Lecturer in English who works mainly on early modern writing, popular writing, literature-science relations, and narrative theory. He has written two monographs, _Stories of Chaos: Reason and its Displacement in Early Modern Narrative_, and the forthcoming _Early Modern English Writing and the Privatization of Experience_. A founding member of the Group for Rsearch in Literature, Psychology and Medical Humanities, he c-edits the monograph series _Texts and Embodiments in Perspective_
