Personal Statement
Dr Magnus Widell is a Reader in Assyriology in the Department of Archaeology, Classics and Egyptology at the University of Liverpool. He is teaching classes on cuneiform languages and Mesopotamian history and archaeology. Dr Widell is currently accepting PhD and MA students in Assyriology/Sumerology and the ancient Near East.
